After Tallstar died and before Onewhisker had gotten his nine lives Firestar and him were still friends but soon after receiving his nine lives, Onestar ended their friendship. Windclan, before he was leader, used to tease him about being Firestar's 'kittypet'. Onestar realized that, to gain the respect of his clanmates, he had to distance himself from Firestar and focus on friendships with cats within his own clan, not in different clans.

Firestar and Onestar first became friends after Firstar and Graystripe brought back WindClan. Then on a regular basis at Gatherings Firestar and Onestar would always talk. But once Onestar became leader of his Clan, their friendship had to be over for the sake of their Clans.

i think onestar is a horrible leader like gosh he should stop being so hostile because hes gained the respect of his clan mates already ready darn onestar wake up a little will ya. tallstar didnt choose you to be hostile and not ask fo support from thunder clan he wanted you to hold the friendship you had with firestar! not what i mean like that he just didnt want you to make firestar so mad that he wouldn't support wind clan like gosh trying to take their terriotry i think tallstar would be crying
