First when Edmund entered Narnia he sees the slay and is asked to come sit in it with her, (the dwarf does not really attack him), Edmund is enchanted by the food she gives him and actually thinks she is rather nice, but as you probably know he figures out her and what she's really like.

Eventually he is rescued by Aslan's army and fights for their side. In the battle the White Witch stabs him, but Lucy saves him and he becomes a king of Narnia along with the ret of his siblings. Edmund's biggest role is in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. He is portrayed in the movies by Skandar Keynes.
The Queen kept asking Edmund what he was in Narnia to try and figure out whether he was a threat or ally to her plans. She needed to know Edmund's intentions and allegiances in order to manipulate him effectively and advance her own agenda in Narnia.
