There has not been any plans made to do so yet. The first Eragon movie did not go over to well with the majority of the die hard fans of the book series. It was made on a low budget and took a very different direction from the book. A good deal of fans have voiced that they would rather see Eragon remade then have a repeat incident with Eldest. We can only wait and see what happens for now.
Not at all, many other genres of movies are being remade as well.
The main conflict in Eragon is resolved by Durza being killed.
no
Eragon changes in the first book by being a farm boy and then turns into a dragon rider
While I (like almost everyone) agree that the movie should be remade, I don't think it should occur anytime soon. Looking back at other movies that have been remade, it didn't happen 5 years after the original. I believe that for them to remake the film then they would have to come up with a decent cast and script. Give them 15 years and then they should start to consider remaking it.
That would be nice if it was, but as far as I know, no
Eragon's true father is Brom, a former Dragon Rider who becomes Eragon's mentor throughout the "Inheritance Cycle" series. It is revealed later in the series that Brom is Eragon's father, not Morzan as originally believed.
After being forced to escape from Carvahall, Eragon, at first, flees to Therinsford with Brom, before continuing along the Anora River.
