Is belle swan weak in character?

No she may not be weak, but in my oppinion she is not the hero in this story; she is simply the main character. Unlike Edward Cullen, who is the hero. she seems to have a problem with over coming things and she does not know how to get over things the right way as she chose to put herself in danger after Edward had left her, just so that she can hear his voice. it was a cowerdly thing to do and not to mention her jumping off a cliff when no one was there to look out for her. Thank god Jacob came and saved her or else she would have died and done damage to everyone, especially Edward who was willing to kill himself! So no, Bella may not be weak but she is definitly not the hero of this story. (But that's one opinion.........).
