Yes. I, personally, think that it really depends on how the kid, dare I say it, is grossed out about blood and things like that. If it is a boy, then probably they could take the action and it would be fine. But, boys might not want to be all interested in cats, and stuff like that so, think about that first. I have read almost every Warriors book there is, and I love them, so I don't really think anyone else wouldn't. But, for an 8 year old, there is quite a lot of dying cats, but I still think it's okay. Also, Warriors teach kids a lesson about how to deal with a loved one's death, how to work together, and how much loyalty and being honest and fair is important in life. So think about that, and then decide whether or not to hand over the Warriors books just yet.
