It doesnt say in the book, it just says hes a dark skinny boy who kept to himself.
I personally would give him black eyes and hair.
They look like little kids.
A fat, cute short blond pale kid
Roger's description of his appearance is in chapter 4, he is the first boy to turn savage, "but the shock of black hair down his nape and low his forehead" Though earlier in the book he is described as the "dark boy"
Ralph, Jack and Roger search the island and climb the mountain in their search for "the beast."
Roger says this, talking to Jack as he paints on his face with clay, getting ready to go hunting.
In "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, the Lord of the Flies is a pig's head on a stick that is placed as an offering to a fictitious beast. It represents the evil and savagery within the boys on the island. The rotting head is described as grotesque and symbolic of the darker sides of human nature.
It connotes danger as it shows that the island is hellish as well as heavenly
In "Lord of the Flies," Sam is described as fair-haired like his twin, Eric. They are both members of Jack's group and serve as part of his hunters. Throughout the novel, they are portrayed as loyal to Jack and participate in the savagery that unfolds on the island.
The big flies that look like mosquitoes are called crane flies.
"Screwed up eyes" is a phrase from the novel "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, describing the intense and crazed look in the eyes of the character Simon as he hallucinates and confronts the Lord of the Flies, which symbolizes the evil within mankind. Simon's vision of the Lord of the Flies represents his realization of the darkness and savagery that exists within the boys on the island.
Roger is described in the book as, and I quote... There was a slight, furtive boy whom no one knew, who kept to himself with an inner intensity of avoidance and secrecy. Roger was also later listed, along with Simon and Maurice, as being one of the boys in the disputed area between biguns and littluns although he seems to have been treated as a bigun right from the start. Roger is a sadist who takes pleasure in inflicting pain on other boys and on pigs. He is the personification of true evil. He knows what he does is wrong but he simply doesn't care, in fact he might even enjoy his actions even more because of this.
