The medicine cat rests his or her muzzle on the apprentice's head, and he or she licks the mentor's shoulder. The other medicine cats greet him or her by their new name. Then they visit StarClan and are talked to, often by the last medicine cats.Only one medicine cat didn't believe in StarClan. Her name was Mothwing and her mother was a rouge who knew the Clans.
