dogs....they do tricks, swim (like water) and tend to communicate and somewhat understand more than cats do. they dont spray either. --------- Cats are easier to take care. If you have an active lifestyle, you won't have to worry about coming home to walk them. They can be very affectionate and are highly intellegent. Cats don't slobber.
