When does an apprentice become a warrior or a medicine cat?
They become a warrior at 12 moons, unless there's something stopping them from becoming one (Ex. an injury, blindness, ect. ect.) And they would become a Medicine Cat when either the medicine cat dies, or believes the apprentice is ready to become the Medicine Cat.

Why did the apprentices listed in the Allegiances section of Bluestar's Prophecy already have warrior names?
In Bluestar's Prophecy Featherwhisker is listed under Apprentices even though he has a warrior name because he is a medicine cat apprentice and medicine cat apprentices can receive their warrior name at anytime but they are an apprentice until the medicine cat dies or quits.
Does stonefur die in the warriors series?
Yes, he does. Tigerstar orders Stonefur to kill Graystripe's kits and Stonefur refuses, then Tigerstar orders Darkstripe to kill him, but Darkstripe is defeated, so he gets the help of Blackfoot and they kill him. This happens in "The Darkest Hour", the last book of the first series.
