Youth violence in the US today can be attributed to various factors such as exposure to violence in media, lack of positive role models, substance abuse, poverty, and inadequate access to mental health services. Additionally, issues related to peer pressure, bullying, and a lack of conflict resolution skills can also contribute to youth violence.

some of the youth today are being irresponsible.... they are there playing computer games and have no focus in their studies.. it's up to us to judge if the youth are still the hope of our motherland

Popular music has been said to effect the youth in our society today in some extreme ways. It is said to sway what they think, believe, encourages violence, drug abuse, immoral behavior, and can be sexually titillating. Popular music is effect our society today in drastic ways, especially in the language it uses, the ideas and morals it portrays, and the overall sense of dehumanizing that the music we listen to does to us is unnerving.
They have different histories and handle conflicts differently. Canada tends to avoid conflicts by giving money, land and special status, even when Natives use violence. Canada's history with natives have less violence. The US also gives money and special status but seems to have less tolerance for violence. The American history has more violence so that may be part of the reason.
