Well, it's rather difficult to try and point out one major problem in the entire series unless you go book by book beginning with the evil Uncle Andrew and the Witch in "The Magician's Nephew" and finishing with the evil Calormenes in "The Final Battle."
I suppose though, that the main problem, if I was to pick out just one, would be trying to reset the balance of good in Narnia and making it as it was meant to be in the beginning (see The Magician's Nephew for details)
