I truly recommend "Someone Like You", by Sarrah Dessen. I'm mostly a fan of romance, and I thought the book was going to be a total drag, because it's mostly about friendship and a little reality. But in the end I was completely wrong, and I loved it. It's now my favorite book.
I also recommend "Just Listen," and "This Lullaby", also by Sarrah Dessen.

It depends how fast the slowest readers in your book club read. For me it'll be around 3 per week so 3 x 52 is 156 so I can read 156 books a year. Tho u should read a new book every tym u have a meeting . O n do u have a book club in SA for people in highschool( I'm asking for me)
