Edmund broke the "ice shield" with his sword.
Aslan's Deep Magic was the law that the White Witch did not know in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." This ancient magic governed the rules of justice and sacrifice in the land of Narnia, ultimately leading to the Witch's defeat.
The prophesy Mr. Beaver quoted was, "There is a prophecy that two sons of Adam and daughters of Eve will appear and defeat the white witch and put an end to this 100 year winter." The children were seen as the sons and daughters of the prophecy. The witch of course did not want her rule to be ended, and set out to destroy the children. They are eventually crowned kings and queens of Narnia.

In "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," the meanest thing Edmond did was betray his siblings by siding with the White Witch and revealing their plans to Aslan. This act led to a series of unfortunate events and put his siblings in grave danger.
Well, if you stress out a witch she will most likely put you under a spell that causes you to become physically ill ;)
to put clothing in or be kidnapped or go to narnia
Lucy put the crown on her head in Narnia and now she is a queen
The professors name in Narnia the Lion Witch and the Wardrobe is "Professor Kirke."The only professor I am familiar with is Digory throughout all 7 books of the series of the Chronicles of Narnia. The only book in which he is not a university professor is The Magician's Nephew, when he was wretched magician uncle's nephew who went to Narnia to rescue Polly as a child. After that book, he had grown up, inherited that huge house, planted the apple core from Narnia that Aslan had allowed him to take home to heal his ill mother, which grew into a huge apple tree, then one day blew down. He couldn't bare to burn it for firewood so he had the wood made into a beautiful wardrobe to put in his house upstairs. And that was the origin of the Narnia wardrobe. The little boy Digory, who went to Narnia to rescue Polly who had taken a yellow ring from his evil uncle and been sent off into who knows where alone with no one to get home, had had the courage to take another ring from his cowardly uncle so he could go to rescue his friend and neighbor Polly. So this is the little boy who later becomes the older knowledgeble uncle who knows about Narnia and isn't skeptical with the later Pevensie children tell him that he wouldn't believe them. He resplies, "Try me!"
No, of course not - most witches work within groups to coordinate efforts both in crafting a spell and casting the spell, a lot more energy can be gained by a well balanced group than a solitary witch. However you may not want onlookers around to put you off.
Peter calls Edmund a poisonous little beast because he feels betrayed by his actions. Edmund had selfishly aligned himself with the White Witch and put his siblings in danger, showing his lack of loyalty and consideration for their safety. Peter's comment reflects his frustration and disappointment in Edmund's behavior.
I Put a Spell on You - book - was created in 1992.
