Answer- Their really was no resolution as in the end, the heroin of the story, Leslie died. But you could also say, that as Jesse had constantly left May Bell out of his and Leslie's games, and ended up pushing her to the ground. The resolution to this is how he built the bridge for May Bell, ultimately making her part of the games and imaginings.
