I think it would be best to just support her and buy the books, either by ordering them online or going to a local bookstore. Either that or you could check them out at a library or borrow them from a friend.
Yes, there is romance in the Immortals quartet by Tamora Pierce, which features Daine the Wildmage. However, the romance is not apparent until the last book, The Realms of the Gods.
They do fall in love in the Immortal series. If you want to find out about their relationship you get a glimpse into their lives in the following series Protector of the small.
I believe you mean Tamora Pierce as in the author of the Alanna series and no she is very much alive as of July 2011
The Alanna series are sort of continued in the immortals series and the one with the book squire in it. She is in them. They are good books too ~another user says~ The ALIANNE series only has two books (unfortunately). They're both amazing though!
There will be 6 books: Evermore, Blue Moon, Shadowland, Dark Flame, Night Star, and Everlasting. there is also another series about Ever's younger sister, Riley: Radiance, Shimmer. These are all of them so far, but there will not be anymore immortals books.
Auditions? she has denied any offers for movies
Elkhound was the original title for the third book in the Beka Cooper series. However, Tamora Pierce changed her mind and renamed the book Mastiff. Mastiff will be coming out in 2011.
Very little romance, but there is quite some tension.
The author never actually says that Numair married Daine, but it is strongly hinted in the very end of the series. So the answer would be yes. They did-much later on, though. Almost ten years later.
The average word count in a Tamora Pierce book ranges between 80,000 to 100,000 words. However, this can vary depending on the specific book and series within her body of work.
The Immortals - series - was created in 1992.
Sadly, there are no RPGs from the works of Tamora Pierce. However, me and a few friends of mine are giving a crack at making one using RPG Maker XP. We are working on an RPG based off of Sandry's Book from the Circle of Magic series, we are trying to make it as close to the book as we possibly can.
