In the second book Eldest, at the Battle of the Burning Plains.
If you are talking about Eragon's dragons name it is Saphira. If you are just talking about the dragons in the series it is Thorn, Gladier and I dont quite remember Galbatorix's dragon's name.
The Green dragon will most likely be Saphiras mate
More than likely, no because Thorn and Murtagh have promised Galbatorix loyalty in the ancient language and were told to kill Eragon and Saphira. How can Saphira and Thorn get together if Thorn has sweared to kill her? Food for thought. Just something to ponder on.
saphira does not die and neither does thorn murtagh eragon arya and nasuada although she gets captured by galbitorix and arya hatches the green dragon and calls it firnen
SHE DID HAVE FEELINGS FOR GLAEDAR YET HE REJECTED HER. SHE CONSIDERS THORN THE "RED RUNT" THUS SHE HAS NO FEELINGS FOR HIM. SHRUKIEN IS EVIL AND WICKED THUS SHE WILL NOT MATE WITH HIM. ITS MY BELEIF THAT SHE WILL MATE WITH THE GREEN DRAGON WHICH WILL POSSIBLY HATCH FOR ARYA SO THAT BOTH ERAGON AND SAPHIRA WILL HAVE MATES.
There are a few dragons in 'Eldest'. Saphira is still in the series with her rider Eragon. The red dragon on the cover is named Thorn. His rider is Murtagh. There is also the older golden dragon, Glaedr, with his rider, Oromis.
appearing dragonriders are: Eragon - Saphira Brom (dragon died before book 1) - Saphira Murtagh - Thorn Oromis - Glaedr Galbatorix - Shruikan there are also some others mentioned, like the Eragon, that Eragon was named after, but these are the ones that actually appear. you´re welcome :)
While it's possible given under the problems going on such as the fact that thorn is a slave and is forced to fight her, Thorn MAY have feelings for Saphira considering that she's the ONLY female around. As for Saphira's feelings, it's safe to say that she's excited when she sees him which led to either: they're going to fight so she gets tough, she was flying by herself and saw thorn also flying by himself which made her excited, pity wells up for her and eragon when they saw how sad and puzzled he was for why he was brought to this world under a madman's control. I am sure that they've have a proper fresh start if Thorn is freed.
Technically without the support of Galbatorix and the Eldunari Eragon and Saphira would be more powerful than Thorn and Murtagh. But since Murtagh is receiving aid he is currently stronger than Eragon
Well, honey, Murtagh didn't actually kill Eragon in The Inheritance Cycle. In the third book, Brisingr, Murtagh and Eragon have a big ol' fight, but it's their dragons, Thorn and Saphira, who end up getting all hot and bothered and causing chaos. So, no need to go spreading rumors about poor Murtagh being a dragon-slayer.
Book 1: Saphira ,Book 2: Thorn ,Book 3: Glaedr ,Book 4: Firnen
Eragon is actually the first of the Inheritance Cycle. It features Saphera, Eragon's blue dragon with a blue background. The second book is titled Eldest and shows Murtagh's red dragon, Thorn, and has a red background. The third book is Brisingr, and has Glaedr on the cover with a black background. The fourth and final book has yet to be released, but it has been revealed that it will conclude the cycle, and it will have a green dragon on the front, symbolizing the last egg that has yet to hatch.
