in the twilght saga the bad people are James (dies) , Laurant (dies), Victoria (dies) , Volturi (a group of vampires that make the law kind of like police).
That's rather complicated. Many of the bad people are really morally ambiguous. Mrs. Coulter is the primary antagonist in the Golden Compass. The Amber Spyglass does deal with the defeat of God's Authority, but the protagonists don't partake in the fight. There are also some minor enemies, like Father Gomez and the Cittagaze people.
The Twilight series, by Stephanie Meyer.
The second novel in Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy is called The Subtle Knife, followed by The Amber Spyglass.
In the first book of the His Dark Materials trilogy, Lyra's friend who disappears is Roger Parslow. He is abducted by the Gobblers and taken to Bolvangar.
I believe that the most popular book out of the Twilight saga by: Stephanie Meyer is either the first book of the trilogy: Twilight or the final book in the Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn, but that is just my opinion to other people I may be wrong.
