Perhaps a little bit. He was very fond of her, for she had saved his life, and Cinderpelt had shown some hints that he might like her, such as stating "he usually waits for me." However, it could just be a really close friendship, as naturally most people would be horrified at their best friends death, but who knows?

Cinderheart does not love Firestar. her reincarnation doesn't mean she will love the same cat but since Lionblaze is Firestar's decendant, i guess he's like a newer Firestar to the new Cinderpelt.
