No, the identity of Firestar's mother is not known. We know that Bluestar isn't Firestar's mother however because Firestar was not clan born. Also, the book "Bluestar's Prophecy" documents Bluestar's life rather well - and Firestar was never mentioned in the book until the end. (And in the Prologue.)
