Ralph said he would tell Piggy that the boys would be back after dark in the novel "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding.
Simon volunteers to go back with the message to Piggy and the littluns that the boys will be home after dark.
dunno man Piggy clings to Ralph he admires him and wants to be friends with him. Ralph has no interest in this and makes fun of Piggy, he tells all the other boys on the island about the nickname piggy. Ralph and all the others are bothered by piggys speeches and outbursts eventually Ralph realizzes that piggy is a good friend
Ralph says that someone should go tell Piggy that they'll be back late, and Jack--the mean guy in the story--gets ticked off at Ralph and says it isn't necessary. But then Simon, who is actually a pretty nice character, volunteers to tell Piggy and runs off before Jack could say anything.
The dark lord chuckles the silly piggy
Piggy explains Simon's death by attributing it to an unfortunate accident, claiming that it was dark and they couldn't see properly. He uses the phrase "lord of the flies" to refer to the sow's head on a stick placed in the forest as a gift to the "beast." Piggy links the phrase to the idea that the boys' fear and savagery led to Simon's tragic demise.
The rationalization is undertaken mainly by Piggy. Ralph is only too aware they the boys collectively murdered Simon is a frenzied attack and he is deeply upset and filled with remorse. Piggy tries to down play their role insisting that it was a combination of the storm, the dance and even Simon's own fault, for wandering around in the dark, which led to his death. Piggy's advice is to simply forget about it as it can't be changed and thinking about it serves no purpose.
Yea they can and most are.
i'd say it would have to be the joker from the dark knight
some boys do in some boys don't
Jack survived because Jack as prepared to anything to do so. Jack was quite willing to kill to get his own way. Ralph survived because he was intelligent, adaptable and resourceful. Piggy failed to survive because he was rigid in his outlook and an outsider who irritated and antagonised the wrong people. Simon died because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. His knowledge that the beast wasn't real meant that he had no fear of walking through the jungle in the dark. But he didn't consider the reaction that his arrival, coming out of a dark jungle, might have on the rest of the boys who did believe in the beast. Simon and Piggy were both so locked up inside their own thoughts and ideas that they failed to consider the thoughts and ideas of the other boys.
piggy dies by getting hit by a bolder, and simon gets killed because it was dark and the boys made a kill however simon came back from the jungle and they over react and kill him thinking it is the beast.
Piggy eventually got him to talk and reported "He asks them what you're going to do about the snake-thing." When questioned further he also says that it was a beastie, a snake-thing that he saw in the woods and it was ever so big. He said that it came in the dark. That it came and went away again and then came back and wanted to eat him. He ened my saying that in the morning it turned into the creepers in the trees and wanted to know if it would return the next hight.
