REAAAD !
One of the twins. Whether it was Sam or Eric, the book never really says.
Ralph was fighting with Jack in the dark. The confrontation was sparked by their ongoing power struggle and disagreements over leadership.
Eric
From their voices Ralph identified that Jack, Roger and at least one of the twins were outside the thicket, as he heard Roger and Jack question either Sam or Eric, to confirm that the thicket was Ralph's intended hiding place.
Ralph and Eric hurt each other at the end of chapter 10 in "Lord of the Flies" because the dynamics of power and control have escalated to violence. Ralph is trying to hold onto his leadership role, while Eric and the other boys have become more savage and aggressive. The conflict between Ralph and Eric represents the breakdown of order and the descent into chaos on the island.

Sam and Eric initially follow Jack's orders and inform him of Ralph's arrival. However, they struggle with their loyalty to Ralph and end up warning him about Jack's intentions to hunt him. They ultimately help Ralph escape from Castle Rock.
In chapter 10 of "Lord of the Flies," Eric reveals to Ralph that Jack and his tribe plan to hunt him down and kill him. This news shocks Ralph, as it underscores the dangerous and hostile environment that has emerged on the island.
Ralph finds out from Sam & Eric that Ralph will be hunted down by Jack's tribe and Roger will "sharpen a stick at both ends". That could mean that Jack's wants Ralph's head, or something symobic like the harm done onto another causes harm to oneself.
