Why are people so obsess with twilight the movie?

The fanbase is mostly teenage girls, who can relate to the main character. Edward is also a very popular character, being what most women think of as the ideal boyfriend. It is a very dramatic and engrossing story, and well written.

It's not challenging; it's quite easy to read. People find Edward Cullen absurdly attractive, and like to fantasize about him and read and re-read the countless passages talking about his "hotness" or how he and Bella made out for pages and pages.

I personally think that Twilight is a good book that was written extremely well. Many people like Twilight because it is a good book. Also, the book is getting more popular because of the Twilight movie and all the new twilight merchandise coming out, so naturally, more people are reading Twilight and finding that they like the book alot.

Maybe it's because of Robert Pattinson (honestly, what do people see in him?) or because they think they're really good, but most fans of the book don't really like the movie. (Or at least I'm that way.) Either way, it's just pretty stupid. The books were okay, the movie just ruined them. I'm sure the Hollywood execs just see it as a way to make money.

Because it makes vampires look like stupid vampires that jump not fly, won't die even in the sun unless their head is ripped off by other vampires, care only about how much conditioner is in their hair. Zombies are the only Horror movie character that are terrible
