Well in the begging she only went with him because her mother was going on a road trip with her husband or fiance (sorry i am not sure) and Bella didn't like road trips and didn't like Phil (the fiance or husband) so went with her dad in forks. In the end she MOVES in because she is in love with Edward and wants to stay with him so she stays with her dad
