Why does Jake imprint on a baby in twilight and What does imprint mean i don't believe it means love because shes just a baby and i watched the movie its way different from the book so please answer?

Actually it dies mean love, he feels like the whole world changes when he imprints. If you saw the movie then you'd have to of seen Renesmee grown up and how she will look like. I hate to ruin the next movie and if you don't want me to ruin the movie, stop reading now. Renesmee in the book grows at a very fast pace and will look like she's grown up soon. And will stay immortal forever also. She will stop growing when she reaches the point of a young adult. And Jacob will wait patiently when that time comes. Just like another one of Jacobs pack friends have to do as well in the book.( hope that helps! )
