On the Rick Riordan website, it states that "The Serpent's Shadow is a satisfying end to the Kane Chronicles trilogy", so there will most likely not be another book.

it says in almost the end of the serpents shadow they have been hearing unexpainable magic at LONG ISLAND. the kanes and percy jackson either meet up in the book the mark of athena from the seriest the heroes of olympus, or they make another book. thats why it says in the serpents shadow that other gods and other magic are rising or something. but its obvious the romans, greeks, and egyptians all meet up, posibly in a new series with all 3 of them. i want a new series coming now.
