What do kids think of uniforms?

I think kids LOVE uniforms! no matter how much they say they don't, we all know they do and they always will! Peace out kids!

i think that they don't generally, as i am a kid myself. i have met other kids and have discussed if they like their uniforms.. and quite simply they don't. they say that they want to wear their own clothes. like the Americans do .. should we be any different?

What are you talking about????? kids HATE their uniforms, i remember when i had to wear them, man it was soooooo annoying! I mean the teachers thought that wearing the so called "inappropriate clothes" would affect our learning..... HOW IN GODS NAME ARE JEANS AND T-SHIRTS INAPPROPRIATE???????????????

It depends! Most kids of course aren't going to like them but it is easier on parents and kids. The parents don't have to worry about buying their kids new clothing all the time to keep up with the style and the kids don't have to worry about being made fun of or picked on because they don't have the "good shoes" or for them wearing the same thing.

I use to attend a school where we had a dress code. I had nothing against it, but I didn't like it very muc. There were barely any clothes my size everythying they had was uncomfortable. It's bad enought that I had to come to school tired and sit in classrooms doing nothing but work, but I was uncortable too. I could abrely concentrate. Oh and the worst part was how much money my parents were speding on clothes I'll never use again. Having to wash them evrynight (By hand) because I only had 2 pair of pants. Although I think it's a good idea to have uniforms because it teaches us to get use to things outsie of home. Uniforms also make us look more professional, wich makes a good impression on feild trips. Not everyone agrees on school uniforms, trust me, but it's a good idea.

I'm 11 years old and if I or any of my friends had to were uniforms to school or any place we'd be very upset . Kids outfits express there feelings, personality , and originality.kids don't tease kids about there clothing unless its horible.(thats still mean) -EBONYI

Uniforms are helpful to the extent that kids in school will not judge each other on the basis of their clothing, if they all wear the same thing. It also saves time when you are getting dressed, because you don't have to decide what to wear.

No, yet some kids who go to Private School like their uniforms. Most do not, I believe.

Not many, most kids would rather wear clothes THEY like. not khakis and polo shirts everyday
