Kids shouldn't have PE everyday because of dehydration. Their bodies are still growing and forming, and they may not know how to take proper care of themselves. Dehydration can be caused by too much exercise, along with too little, or no water. Once or twice a week is fine, but ever day is too much.
Yes it should be required. Kids are not getting enough excersise on there own.
Kids should consume 2,000 calories everyday, but if they are athletic and like to exercise a lot, then they should consume 2,500 calories everyday.

This is just my opinion but schools should have PE because it teaches kids you to be active and healthy and I know is let's kids let off steam wich is good for teachers because they don't wand rilled up students.
