ants are both, but mostly preys because many, many animals eat ants, rite? For example, crows eat ants, and birds eat ants, and many creatures eat ants, so they are mostly prey, in my opinion, that is.
In it's own type of way, Ants are actually pretty much both, predators and prey, because ants eat some other tiny little bugs, and insects, and they also get eaten by birds, and other creatures. But ants would most probably go to the preycategory, because they cant actually eat as much of other insects, or creatures, as much as they get eaten. Plus, they dont exactly eat animals, they actually kind of decompose it, so they cant actually have their own preys to kill. So ants are prey, because they get eaten by many other creatures way more than how much they can actually eat other creatures. Ants are prey.
they are actually both
Ants natural predators are insects other than the Hymenoptera, arachnids, reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and fungi. Naturally everything will prey on ants from an anteater to sparrow. Even ants will prey on other ants such as Fire Ants and Army Ants. Though on the flip side ants will prey on anything from other insects to amphibians so long as they're in large numbers (like the Army Ants).
The only animal that occasionally preys on lions is the Nile crocodile.
The predators and preys in the river based on the rivers food chain. In other means predators are those who eat other animals and creatures that live in the river and along the coast of the river. Preys are the ones to be eaten. eg: A crocodile salmons and salmons eats frogs eggs and frogs feeds on grass and other tiny things. NB: that is just an example
The ants defend the plant from predators - and the plant produces sugars to feed the ants.
depends... sometimes they're predators sometimes they're preys but mostly they're preys
preys
they are actually both
I think it is prey..........
Dingoes are apex predators: in their native habitat, there is nothing which preys on them.
hyenas and lions , their principle predators are humans
Nothing preys on himalayan vultures.
preys
We are not preys for them it's a myth
When the number of preys decreases, the predators can't get enough food and their population is decreasing too. During long periods of time the populations are balanced so that predators can be fed and preys don't go extinct.
Pigs are predators and not classified as prey. Pigs are known to be opportunistic predators and will eat most anything they come across.
Dogs are predators who has instinctive desire to chase, bite and kill preys and Rabbits are also their preys so probably the dog will definitely hunt the Rabbit
