No they aren't! Although cats cannot see colours like us, they are not fully colourblind. They see the world in blues and greens but cannot distinguish the different shades of red.

They can see other a few other colours as well, just not too brightly. Lion's only see in black and white.

In addition, cats see things in much less saturation, meaning cats do not see things as intensively or vibrantly.
