Here's the deal. No, chicken wings (not breaded) are not fattening. There are no carbs in a chicken wing. Eating fat cannot make u fat. When u eat sugar, starches, and carbohydrates your body breaks them down into glucose molecules and uses it for energy. However, the body only uses what it needs, and then breakes the glucose down further and is stored as triglycerides in your fat cells. Chicken consists of mostly protiens and lipids. Those lipids are broken down by lipase, and then used by your heart and brain as fuel. So, I am happy to announce that u cannot get fat by eating fat. Eating fat is actually a much healthier option than carbs and sugars because, for one lipids take longer to be broken down than sugar, carbs, and startches ao you are fuller longer. Fat is your hearts number one prefered fuel source, and anything that is sugar or breaks down into sugar can increase the viscosity of your blood (thicken it) and put more friction on the walls of your blood vessels causing damage which brings in plaque to act as a bandaid, and if u are vitamin c deficient (u need vitamin c to build back the walls of your blood vessels) then u may start to have plaque build up because the "bandaids" aren't being removed because the blood vessels aren't healing propperly. I'm not saying don't eat carbs, we do need some, but u may want to look into these little pearls I've given u and go buy yourself some horizon whole milk with dha and omega 3 added. Omega 3 is a fatty fuel source for your heart and brain.
