I believe that depends on your definition of what a sea monster is. Are there giant scarey creatures that live in the ocean? Yes there are. The giant squid is one such monster that has rarely been seen. Sailors way back in Columbus' time and even before had stories of them attacking ships and we have found carcuses of them and now have photographic evidence of them as well. Do we know what all the creatures in the ocean are? No we don't. Ask most deep sea sub divers and they will tell you that each time they take their observations subs to the bottom, they discover new creatures that were never seen before. Since our oceans are so vast and so deep, I think it is highly possible that there are things we have never seen or identified that could be considered sea monsters. So, in my opinion, yes there are sea creatures that one might consider monsters.

Yes, indeed they are. I was out on my boat fishing in the deep blue sea, and I came upon this big dark pink spot in the deep blue sea that had big purple ears and a long shiny tail. Its eyes were of emerald green and it had a tiny three inch horn on its snout made of gold. It emerged itself from the water and it took a big fat crap right on my boat. The crap had dead fish and monkeys on it. It also had lost of glitter. Then the monster calmly turned his head, looked at me, winked, turned away farted, and blasted me with a big huge jet spray of air and them submerged itself back into the deep blue sea. Yes and no. if your talking about a sea serpent like the sea serpent animal, then yes, but a sea dragon no. Not that I know of.
