I think that there are Antlions in PA I was just outside on my porch and noticed a bug of some sort digging a hole about the size of a fifty cent piece in the center, about two inches deep and about 3 or 3 1/2 inches across throwing the dirt around the outer edge. I wasn't about to stick my finger in the hole to find out what it was because what ever it was had big pincers that it was using as a shovel. I hear they are gentle and soft but I'm not touching anything with pincers that big.
