You can even use some of the cooking water to moisten the chicken with, or just to entice the cat to drink. Purchasing malt paste such as Pro-Kolin may also help. This paste is a probiotic and helps balance the bacteria in the cat's stomach and gut.
Keep the cat on this bland diet for a few days should give things enough time to settle. If your cat is still unwell after a few days, it is recommended to consult a vet.
