Rex rabbits can eat the same foods as all pet rabbits. When it comes to care and behaviour, all pet rabbits are pretty much the same.

Tomato vines, leaves, and stems are toxic to rabbits (including Rexs). Tomato fruit is not toxic but it shouldn't be a staple of a rabbit's diet. If your rabbit likes tomato, a bite or two every few days at most is okay -- tomato can be a treat. Otherwise, rabbits should mostly be eating hay, with some pellets and fresh greens daily. See the related questions below for more info.

Cherry tomatoes, like all tomatoes, are not healthy for rabbits. The leaves, vines, and stems are toxic. The fruit is not toxic, but it isn't a normal part of a healthy rabbit's diet. A bite or two of cherry tomato once a week or so should be okay (assuming your rabbit is healthy), but it isn't necessary. Rabbits should mostly eat hay, with some pellets and fresh greens daily. See the related links/questions below for more details.

Yes, but only if you cut the cherry tomato/ grape tomato into fourths. Be sure to only give them one fourth, otherwise it's to much acid for them to digest. Hope this helps! :)

How big do rex rabbits grow?

Standard Rex rabbits can get up to 10 1/2 pounds, while Mini Rex Rabbits are generally 3 to 4 1/2 pounds.

Where do Rex rabbits come from?

What types of fruit do Mini Rex rabbits eat?

Rex rabbits eat the same foods as all pet rabbits. Most of a rabbit's diet should be hay. Rabbits should always have access to hay and water. Rabbits also eat some pellets and fresh veg. Pellets should be high in fibre (at least 18% - see the nutritional info on the package), and plain (no seeds, grains, dried veg - these aren't healthy). Vegetables should be mostly dark leafy greens. Fruit and non-leafy vegetables, and whole grains (like oat groats, wheat berries - not rolled oats, or cereal, etc) are fine as limited treats, but too much will make a rabbit sick. Two or three groats, or up to 2 tablespoons of veg/fruit, make a fine treat for a normal, healthy 6 pound rabbit. See the related link below for more information about what pet rabbits eat. It applies to Rex rabbits, too.

How long do rex rabbits live?

Rex rabbits have the same lifespan as other pet rabbits: they live on average 8 to 10 years, but they can live up to 12, 13, even 14 years old. A Rex rabbit can live 4-11 years. But 4 is a very short life for a pet rabbit, including a Rex! That's like a human dying at age 30.

How does a Rex rabbit look like?

Standard Rex rabbits are usually around 10 pounds fully grown and have ears that stick straight up (instead of down). You can't really tell a Rex by their fur pattern, since there are 16 different varieties. The confirming characteristic, however, is their unique, dense, plush, velvet-like fur that is only found in Standard Rex and Mini Rex rabbits.
