Yes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bat
Bats have a good sense of smell, which helps them find food, detect predators, and navigate their environment. They use echolocation as their primary method of navigation, but their sense of smell also plays a significant role in their daily activities.
A bat's sense of smell is typically less developed compared to other senses like echolocation. They primarily rely on their hearing and echolocation abilities to navigate and hunt for food. However, some species of bats do have a keen sense of smell that can help them locate food sources like fruit or flowers.
as a matter of fact. Yes they do have senses. They have all the senses that you and I have. Sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. Theyr'e just like you and me but their bats. But it depends which bat your talking about. If your talking about a baseball bat, then that would just be plain wierd.
Bats mainly use echolocation to sense their environment. They emit high-frequency sound waves and listen for the echoes bouncing off objects, allowing them to navigate and locate prey in the dark. Bats also have well-developed senses of hearing, smell, and touch to help them gather information about their surroundings.
yes they do. I once saw a bat flying around a person with its nose moving and then it flew towards them and bit them. The person that got then turned in to a vampire. after that day i never liked bats every time i see there nose moving I run and get away from them. That is all I have to say about bats, I don't like to talk about them they make me sick. I can't stand them.
All bats have a very good sense of smell ~ x

They use there sence of smell and some bats use echolocation x
Bats are generally not attracted to menthol or its scent, as their sense of smell is more attuned to natural odors associated with food and their environment. While some studies suggest that certain scents can repel or attract various animals, menthol is not known to have any specific appeal to bats. Instead, bats may rely more on echolocation and other sensory cues when navigating and foraging.
The fruit bat uses sight and smell to locate fruit and navigate. It does not use echolocation (except for one species of Egyptian bat) , as do all other bats.
Fruit bats find their food through their acute sence of smell and through good eyesight. Fruit bats to not travel by ecolocation like most bats, and also many spend more time out during the day foraging.
