If they have to throw up they eat grass.
Your cat will throw up if...it eats grass or other plantsit eats something inedibleit is severely upsetis sickHope this helps!
Cats normally throw up because they eat grass outside. Vets say that they should eat grass because it clears up fur balls. If your cat throws up a lot and it is NOT green, then you might want to consider cleaning up where you feed it. Or you can try new cat or kitten food.
Through their bum
My cat used to throw up a lot as well. He has a kidney problem and the toxicity in his system was causing him to throw up. If your cat is younger than this is not likely the case but if he is an older cat it is possible he might have kidney problems. It is very common in older cats. Cats live in a dehydrated state most of their lives and it is only when they are older that it catches up with them.
How long it takes a cat to throw up after eating grass can vary quite a bit, depending on things such as how much grass the cat ate and what else was in its stomach. In general, a cat will throw up anywhere from almost immediately to 5 or 10 minutes after eating grass, though that don't always throw up at all.

No. It is impossible. The only way they can throw up is due to either pregnancy or eating bad food. And if so, they will only throw up green stuff (puke).
If you believe your cat has ingested something it shouldn't have or has something stuck, then it is strongly advisable to take it to the vet. It is not ideal and extremely dangerous for someone to attempt to do this themselves.

Eating grass, sickness, and eating to much food are among a few reasons a cat might throw up.
