Yes! I feed my chickens (9 in total) about 3 TBS of Cayenne pepper each day during the winter. It warms their bodies and makes them lay more eggs more regularly during the cold months. I have been doing this for about 1 year and have not noticed any strange flavor in the eggs at all despite warnings from other sites. It only helps and they love it!
