You can give a dog bottled water, as long as it's not too old and is clean. I sometimes buy bottles of water for my dog when we take walks, especially when it's hot out, so she has something to drink when she's tired, thirsty or just hot. Yes, I even keep an unopened bottle in my truck for emergencies. Just in case I see a dog or cat that needs help. If you pick up a stray, having some food and water with you to keep them busy is a big help. Especially if you are alone, and driving the hurt or sick stray to the Vet. I also keep an extra towel and blanket for injuried animals I find. You just never know what you might see!
i dont see why not but if they drink it and start coughing then i would change back to tap water.
