Can female guinea pigs be aggressive?

Yes! They are very friendly. but like all rodents they do bite if you put your finger in front of his mouth. It is because of this they are highly recommended for young children who want a pet.
It depends on a guinea pigs attitude, Really. Mostly they are very friendly, but if you put two guinea pigs in one cage they do become aggresive. Try not to place two male guinea pigs in one cage.

With each other , yes, females are better together. Females usually get along great.

Males usually fight so they wont tend to be the friendliest with another male.

Males and females usually get along good also.

But if what you mean is towards humans, Both male and female guinea pigs are good with humans. It's all in just finding the right guinea pig for you. It's all in the personality of your new guinea pig, or the guinea pig you are choosing.

Most of the time girls will not fight for dominance but my two girl guinea pigs would sometimes go under their little house and the more dominant one would chew on the other ones ear.

So, I advise you to either get 1 boy or 2 girls but not to have a little house in their cage unless outside or to see how they act around each other before you get them.

if male guinea pigs are put together they could fight to the death, but alone, guinea pigs are not aggressive at all.
