Guinea pigs have excellent hearing and can hear sounds at a higher frequency than humans. They use their sense of hearing to communicate with each other through various vocalizations such as squeaks, whistles, and purring. Loud noises can startle guinea pigs and may cause them stress, so it's important to keep their environment quiet and peaceful.
