We have a cat and a hamster in the same house. The cat was very interested in it when it first arrived, but after about 3 months just leaves it alone. Of course, we never leave the hamster loose when the cat is in proximity, just in case. We also had a snake at one time and the cat never lost interest in it right up until the day we sold the snake.
if your cat is still playful and hunts, it would be a little risky but ive done it before
No, a cat is not a hamster. Cats and hamsters are two different species of animals with distinct characteristics and behaviors. Cats are carnivorous mammals, while hamsters are small rodents typically kept as pets.
You can connect two hamster cages by using tube tunnels specifically designed for hamsters. These tunnels can be attached to the cages with connectors or tubes that allow your hamster to move freely between the two cages. Make sure the connection is secure and the hamster cannot escape.
Your hamster doesn't need to go in the ball everyday , If your hamster has an exercise wheel then you can put them in the ball when you want to. I have 2 hamsters and they both have hamster balls and i only put them in it 3 times a week at the most :)
no, they should be in seperate cages.
Well, why should it bring bad luck? So what makes you ask? The answer is if you have faith in your hamster then it may. But, it's not about the luck a hamster brings you, it's the fun and laughter. If you think you want to know if it brings luck then you should be asking Does a hamster bring laughter? the answer to that question would be Yes.
erg a male hamster and a female hamster kind of go together and... yeah
Yes, that way your hamster can go out of its cage but at the same time be safe. Don't ever leave your hamster inside the ball without supersivion.
yes
Yes, given the chance to get at it they will certainly eat a hamster.
yes. my cats have got into my hamsters cage twice.
you can never put them together because they will just keep fighting. if it is a dwarf hamster then you can put two female's together.
dogs and cats and even my hamster.
no

A hamster can go up to 5 years.
I am sure that the hamster smell wouldn't worry dogs because they would have found the source and taken care of it (eaten it!) I don't think a hamster and a dog would be able to live together happily. Those kind of pets just don't go well together.
