Well, we humans are related to monkeys, ( aka primates) and monkeys got their hair from not shaving. When monkeys are in the wild, surviving with out zookeepers, their hormones keep it from growing to long for their own good. Men typically have fur put not as thick as monkeys. Humans hormones keep hair from growing too long. Men shave their beards, unless they are crazy wacky.
Humans do have fur, as do all mammals. What did you think that stuff on your head was?
-.-'' don't listen 2 this dummy ^^^ obviously we do not have fur because we developed from monkeys *which do have fur* and instead of fur we grew more hair... we don't have fur because we developed enough that we did not need fur because we had become more intelligent than other animals and understood with out fur we would freeze and that is why we where clothes...and we make sure we are kept warm during winter....that was a simple question that could be answered by a rock.. O_o

Maybe hair is fur, we have hair all over our bodies. So we are not that different from animals, and there are lots of animals that have no fur at all.
humans cannot grow fur and dont think of" Big Foot" as human because he is only a mythical creature.
Okay well the last answer was completely rubbish. Emperor penguins DO shed their fur, they shed their baby fur, the grey fur they have when they are young penguins. As they grow older they shed that fur.

From my side it looks like it `s fur grow straight
People often confuse the terms hair and fur. Physically speaking, they might not be too different from each other but what truly differentiates between the two is how they grow. Fur grows and sheds periodically like a wolf's pelt become thicker during the winter. It is generally bigger and thus more important so it is regulated. If it is not regulated periodically as it is in Humans then it is considered hair. Humans constantly grow and lose hairs in a sporadic way. This does not make it worse, it just doesn't need to be as maintained as fur does. Some primates like humans have hair while other primates have fur.
They are born with fur.
Horses don't have fur they have hair
Animals that grow fleece -- much as humans grow hair -- include sheep, goats, alpacas llamas, yaks, and more. Camels and rabbits, for example, grow fur or hair that can be cleaned, carded and spun into wool.
Humans kill beavers for their fur.
They grow their fur over time. Basically from their genetics.
