For thousands of years in man's history there was no electricity. Only in the past 100 years has there been electricity. Without it there would be many things we can't do, but there would be plenty we can do. When the industrial revolution first began steam and water power was used to run machines, so machinery could be used without electric power. Our homes would be lit with candles and other things. Put a candle in front of a mirror and it produces a lot of light. Heat and cooking can be done with wood, coal, solar, and gas. Street lights can be lit with gas as they once were in the 1800's. We would have problems with some computers and other devices, but batteries can be used to power them. All in all we would be able to function and have to devise new methods for power.
