ITS STUPID BUMBUM
ducks are sexual they can lay eggs without a male but they wont have baby ducklings in the eggs
Yes. Mallards migrate in the fall to warmer temperatures and feeding grounds and return to northern areas to lay eggs.
That happened to me last year. I bought an incubator and was able to hatch the eggs. Those same ducklings are now laying this year. As they lay, I gather the eggs and incubate. So, far we have 3 ducklings and about 6 in the incubator.
Once
Ducklings become fethered at about 6 weeks old, they begin to quack around 4 months old, and females lay eggs at 8 months old (around this time ducks become sexually active).
Mallards,or Anas platyrhynchos, are birds, not mammals. Birds are warm-blooded, have feathers, a beak, and lay eggs.

The babies would drown in the water. Also, the babies may not know how to swim.
I don't think sitting on the eggs makes them hatch, but the down in their feathers keps the eggs warm and therefore the ducklings alive!

yes if there is no male peacock to breed them they will still lay eggs and set on them
It really doesn't matter what breed of duck it is. They usually lay up to 8-15 in a nest and in a whole year up to 300 !18Female mallards lay from 8-12 eggs. They lay one egg a day, then when they have completed laying, they will sit on the eggs to incubate them, this is why all ducklings hatch within hours of each other, ready to follow their mother as a group.Incubation can take approximately 28 days.
adult frogs normally lay eggs in ponds or still water areas
A female turtle can still lay eggs without the presence of a male. Either she will lay unfertilized eggs, or she has stored sperm from within the last five years and is still able to lay fertilized eggs.
