You can but you'll need to watch their behaviour to check they don't fight.

No every rabbit must have it's own cage, they are very territorial and will fight. They may get along at first but then they won't and when rabbit's fight it IS UGLY.

Are two mini lop rabbits better in a hutch if they are two girls or two boys?

Two mini lop rabbits of the same sex (either two girls or two boys) can be kept together in a hutch as long as they are spayed or neutered to prevent any aggressive behavior or unwanted pregnancies. It is important to provide enough space, enrichment, and a safe environment for them to live happily together.

Can two female rabbits breed?

because they are making sure the other rabbit knows that its the dominant one. Mine do it all the time and i have had them for a year and a half now :) They are signaling to any buck in the immediate area that they are ready to breed. Why are your rabbits together so they can do this? Every rabbit should have it's own cage, It's own space so to speak.

How does a rabbit react when it sees another rabbit?

Rabbits are social animals and enjoy company! But, like humans, some rabbits just don't get along: always take special precautions when introducing new rabbits. Rabbits happy and curious about each other will go up to each other and sniff on the new rabbit and around them. Rabbits are very alert. If pet rabbits aren't neutered/spayed, they will likely greet each other by fighting (scratching at one another, or worse, disembowling each other), or mating. Don't ever let rabbits fight: even a small cut, one invisible to the human eye, can turn into a serious problem (infection, abscess, etc.). It's not advised to let rabbits mate: caring for pregnant/nursing rabbits requires specialty care, and what will you do with the rabbits? There are rabbits in shelters awaiting adoption right now: don't add to the problem. See the related question below for more info and helpful links.

Do two Neatherland dwarf rabbits get along?

What gender are the rabbits? If both Netherland Dwarfs are bucks then it is almost a guarantee that they will not get along. Bucks are extremely aggressive to other bucks and will even fight until death. If both of the rabbits are females, then there is a chance they will get along when they are young, but as they reach maturity they may start fighting. Of course, this does depends on each rabbits personality. The best combination of two Netherland Dwarfs would be a fixed buck and a doe. The buck must be fixed or you will get lots of babies (which is not good on the doe's body). Rabbits generally do best when they are caged separately, although there are exceptional cases where two rabbits get along just fine. The choice is up to the owner, but there are always unpredictable risks when putting two rabbits together.

Do cats live with rabbits?

No, the cat would probably attack the rabbit and scratch it to death so never make a cat and a bunny live together.

Your rabbit is gathering materials and storing them in a box she is also with a male rabbit does this mean she is pregnant?

ordinarily yes,but rabbits are allot like people in allot of ways so she could be wanting to/planning to get pregnantIf she is also shedding and making a nest of fur it is a sign of pregnancy or a phantom pregnancyYou are being very irresponsible keeping two unneutered rabbits together. There are tens of thousands of unwanted rabbits in rescue centres desperately looking for good homes. There are not enough good homes for these poor unwanted rabbits as it is. Please don't add to this problem by breeding unnecessarily!Your female rabbit should be neutered. Not only to prevent her becoming pregnant and bringing more rabbits into a world but also for her health. 80% of female rabbits get womb cancer by 6 years of age if they are not neutered. If she is neutered she can live with the male rabbit for company. Rabbits are happier when they have company. If you care for your rabbit, please be a responsible owner and don't breed her.
