Cress, like watercress, is healthy for rabbits, but only the dark-coloured varieties. White and light-coloured veggies don't have much nutritional value and they can lead to illness. more info: Don't give your rabbit ANY onion! Onion may be poisonous for rabbits, and anyway it is not healthy or part of the natural diet. Experts say to avoid all onion products. (See link below.)
Watercress is known to cause gas in bunnies. Watercress is a cruciferous vegetable, and like all crucifers it can cause gas. Gas is very painful for rabbits, and can even lead to deadly illness (GI stasis). Some rabbits are more sensitive to gas than others, so the key is to know your rabbit, and to limit gassy foods.
Rabbits should eat mostly hay, with limited pellets and dark leafy greens daily. Treats can be fruit and non-leafy vegetables (like carrot).
