I like the squirrels unlike most everyone else. I'd like to know what kind of nuts they like to eat. My neighbor thinks they like them with the shells on them. I have bought them the honey-roasted nuts. They are all gone by the next day, so I guess they are eating them.

∙ 14y agoSquirrels eat any kind of nut you give them,so all kinds of nuts but they like accorns and peanuts the best.They also like stail bread and crackers.Sometimes they eat seeds like bird seed too.

∙ 11y agoYes you can feed a squirrel cashews, it really doesn't matter because it s a type of nut so it wont kill them, but one thing that YOU DON'T NEED TO FEED A SQUIRREL IS A RED DYE PEANUT. Otherwise you can feed a squirrel any type of nut except for dyed nuts.
