They are more likely to not spray if they are neutered. But, they do still have the ability to spray, and they will spray if they feel the need to mark their territory. Or if they are upset about something.

First, the cucumber needs washing to remove any pesticides that could harm your beardie. It should then be cut into small chunks, preferably with the skin removed. The chunks should be no bigger than the space between the beardies eyes. Sprinkle the cucumber with a calcium supplement if needed, if he/she's not getting enough calcium from crickets etc. Spray with water, as the main point of them eating salad is too keep them hydrated. :-)
