Depends on how big an area you have to house them and also on the temperament of the chicken breed.
If you have enough room and everyone gets along it can be a mutually beneficial relationship as guinea pigs will clean up any left over pellets and scraps (remember no potato!) and that will keep the mice, and therefore the snakes away.
If you are going to attempt this it must be done gradually to guage the resposes of both the chickens and the guinea pigs. introduce them through a fence for afew days, then let them out for a very short time each day and gradually lengthen, eventually letting the guinea pigs roam free.
I would reccomed having a separate small house/box/cubby (not under the chook roosts as they will be pooped on!) for the guinea pigs with a door that is too small for chickens to get in so that they have a place to escape to if they need it and also secure for sleeping.
Be especially careful of mother hens as they can kill small animals in 'defence' of their chicks.
Good Luck
