Yes it can. The smell of chocolate over stimulates the dwarf hamsters system. So yes the smell of chocolate can kill a dwarf hamster.

Can to much bread kill a dwarf hamster?
Yes, you can over feed your dwarf hamster. Do not give it more than a handful of food. When it's plate is clean wait until it goes to its food bowl. Then that means its hungry. So feed it.

I'm not quite sure, but dwarf hamsters types can tolerate other hamsters. Fancy black bears, I assume aren't in that category, so they must be pretty territorial.
